Day 1: Arrival

We will pick you up and transfer you to Planet lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Machame Gate – Machame Camp

Early morning after breakfast, start with a drive to Machame gate. Begin trekking though the rain forest on a winding trail for 5-7 hours, then continue past fist hut to the Machame hut Campsite at 3100m for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Machame Camp – Shira Camp

After breakfast, leave the glades of the rain forest and continue on an ascending path, crossing a little valley and walking along a steep rocky ridge covered with heather until the end of the ridge. The route then turns west onto a river gorge at 3658m (5-7hours) for dinner and overnight at the Shira hut campsite at3800m.

Day 4: Shira Camp – Barranco Camp

From the Shira plateau, continue trekking east towards the lava tower called (the shark’s tooth””). Shortly after the tower, you come to a junction leading to the arrow glacier. Continue to Barranco hut campsite at 3950m for dinner and overnight (5-7hours walking).

Day 5: Barranco Camp – Karanga Valley Camp

After breakfast start with a tailspin into the Gorge, before you climb its eastern wall and you will delight in views of Kilimanjaro’s ice fields, an equatorial anomaly. Go on hiking until you reach your camp in Kilimanjaro Karanga Valley at 13,900 feet, (4-5 hours of walking).

Day 6: Karanga Valley Camp – Barafu Camp

After breakfast hike through the Karanga Valley, the trail turns steadily uphill, following the lava ridge to the Barafu camp. The temperature will grow colder and the landscape more sparse as we approach Barafu Camp. Barafu Camp is set on a bantam, exposed flat area on a ridge, acting as a base camp from which you will make your summit attempt at midnight. Barafu camp is at 15,200 feet, (6-7 hours of walking).

Day 7: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak

Just after midnight trek to Stella point (5745m) on the way to the summit, the UHURU peak, and this part of the climb takes about 8hours. Here you will have reached the highest point in Africa (5895m)! From the summit, descend to Mweka hut campsite at 3100m for dinner and overnight. (5-hours walking)

Day 8: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate

This day is spent descending to the Mweka park gate (3-4hours).When you get to the gate you will be awarded your climbing certificate and there after your driver will be there ready to transfer you to Planet lodge for late lunch, dinner and overnight

Day 9: Arusha National Park

After breakfast drive to Arusha national park for a game drive with picnic lunch. This park has lots of giraffes, antelopes, and flamingos in the Momela Lakes. You will also look for the rare black and white Colobus Monkey in this park. After lunch you will do 2 hours of canoe riding in the Momela. You will then return to Planet lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast drive to Mto wa Mbu village for a guided village walk. In this small but very busy tow you will get an opportunity to interact with the local people. People from all the 120 tribes in Tanzania live in this small village. Here you will visit a local alcohol (banana beer) bar seat and drink with the local people (if interested), visit a nursery school, visit banana/rice farms see how people work in their farms (try work with them if interested). You will then continue to Twiga lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will do bike riding across the villages to Lake Manyara where you will see animals from distance (wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, impala and flamingos), guided by a local guy from the area. You will return to Twiga lodge for dinner, then depart a night game drive with special night drive vehicles to look for nocturnal animals. You will later continue to Twiga lodge for overnight.

Day 11: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast depart for a game drive in Lake Manyara national park. This park has the largest concentration of baboons in North Tanzania, tree climbing lions and others. It is also the best place to see flamingos and other birds. You will then return to Manyara Twiga lodge for a late lunch and a little rest. In the afternoon drive to a traditional Maasai village to explore their culture (you will visit a typical village and not the ones set for tourists). You will then return to Twiga lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast drive to Serengeti national park for game drive with picnic lunch. In the late afternoon continue to Serengeti bush camp for dinner and overnight. Serengeti is the park with the largest concentration of big mammals in the world. Here you will see most of your animals in your trip including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, impalas, giraffes and many more.

Day 13: Serengeti National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national park with early departures, trying to look for active cats/hunting predators. All meals and overnight will be at Serengeti bush camp.

Day 14: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro for a game drive in the crater with picnic lunch. This is the best place to see the endangered black rhino (less than 1000 black rhinos are left in the wild in the world). The crater has also many other animals like zebras, wildebeests, hippos, gazelles, hyenas and many more. In the late afternoon continue to Eileen trees inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 15: Departure

After breakfast drive back to Arusha for lunch, then continue to the airport for your departure after this amazing Kilimanjaro climbing experience.

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Ambureni Coffee Lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari proper in the morning.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

After breakfast you drive to Arusha National Park for a morning game drive with picnic lunch. This is one of the smaller national parks in Tanzania, but it has a rich variety of wildlife and landscapes. From the swampy Ngurdoto Crater and alkaline lakes to dense jungle and the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. This is also one of the places where you can see the Black-and-White Colobus Monkey very easily. In the late afternoon return to Ambureni coffee lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Today starts, after breakfast, with a game drive in Lake Manyara National park. This park is known for its huge soda lake filled with pink-hued flamingos, large population of baboons, incredible birdlife and breathtaking views. You can see giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos and if you are lucky you spot a tree-climbing lion. In the late afternoon continue you drive to Manyara Wildlife Camp for dinner. Enjoy a night game drive after dinner. Discover nocturnal animals like porcupines, pangolin, aardvark and others. After the night game drive you return to Manyara Wildlife Camp for overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Today you go on a morning and afternoon game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. If you want to spot the Big Five – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo- all in one park, the Serengeti is one of the best places to do so. The abundance of wildlife in this park is unmatched anywhere else in Africa. Depending which time of the year you visit this park, you can also witness the Great Migration. It’s an impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by iconic predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. Late in the afternoon you return to Serengeti Bush Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Serengeti

Another day of morning and afternoon game viewing in the Serengeti. With so many wildebeest, gazelles and zebras present it is no wonder the Serengeti is also home to 4,000 lions and 1,000 leopards. Apart from the Big Five the Serengeti boasts the cheetah, jackal, hyena, serval, aardvark, pangolin, porcupine, crocodiles, giraffe, python, black mamba, spitting cobra, ostrich, martial eagle, lovebirds and vultures, just to name a few. Enjoy this supreme game viewing and return to Serengeti Bush Camp in the evening.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Explore the Serengeti for the last time during a morning game drive, then drive back to the camp for a hot lunch. After lunch, you continue your journey to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight. This lodge is located at the highest point on the Ngorongoro Crater’s rim and offers great views across the enormous crater.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Today you set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for your last game drive. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colours and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon you drive to Lake Eyasi safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Monduli

This day will be full of culture, with interesting encounters with a local tribe. After breakfast, you drive to the Hadzabe Bushmen. This tribe hunt on wild animals with bow and arrows, eating roots, honey and wild fruits. You can join the Bushman on a hunting and gathering trip. Walk behind them and see how they shoot their animals by using bows and arrows, then see how they skin them, roast them and eat. After this fascinating experience and a lunch at the lodge, you drive to Monduli Juu. A Maasai guide welcomes you and leads you around a Maasai village where he introduces you to family members. You can communicate with them, see how they cook and dance and get a real insight into the way of life of the Maasai. After dinner the chief of the village will explain their culture and traditions and you can also share your stories with him. You can spend here the night (we provide some bedding for you if you sleep in the Maasai hut). It’s also possible to a nearby lodge for overnight.

Day 9: Monduli – Arusha

Early wake up today to milk the cows with the Maasai ladies. After breakfast you go fetch water with the ladies and learn how they carry the water buckets on their heads. Later you visit a traditional Maasai doctor and experience how he uses plants to cure different diseases. After lunch you drive to a local market in Arusha to buy some food that you can eat today. The owners of a Home Stay welcome you later this day. There is time for a shower and a little rest. During dinner time you can interact with this family and prepare dinner together.  This is a great opportunity to learn about cooking African dishes. Dinner and overnight will be at a Home Stay. We choose a safe and clean home stay for you.

Day 10: Zanzibar

This is the last morning you spend with the family. After lunch you head off to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Next Paradise Boutique Resort for dinner and overnight in a beachfront bungalow.

Day 11: Stone Town

Explore the lively Stone Town today – the cultural and historical heart of Zanzibar. It is a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways that are a joy to explore. Discover the architectural gems, tasteful restaurants, churches, markets and gardens. There are plenty of interesting places to visit on a cultural tour, like the House of Wonders, Darajani market place, Sultan’s Palace and the Slave Market. The mix of Arab, Persian, Indian and European influences makes Stone Town absolutely unique. In the afternoon you go on a boat trip to visit Prison Island. This island was once used as a place where slaves were detained and later it functioned as a camp where people with deadly diseases were sent. Today the island is a nature reserve for giant tortoises and a place to see the ruins that once functioned as the prison. Dinner and overnight will be at Next Paradise resort.

Day 12 and 13: Zanzibar beach

These 2 days will be at leisure to relax or explore as you like. All meals and overnight will be at Next Paradise Boutique Resort. This resort is protected by a coral reef and set along a white sand, palm-fringed beach offering views of the Indian Ocean.

Day 14. Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to Zanzibar airport for your departure (this will depend on your departure time).

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Today starts, after breakfast, with a walking tour in farming town Mto wa Mbu. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa and forms a colorful mix of languages and customs. Your walking guide will take you to rice and banana plantations, a local beer factory, a school and a carving factory. Discover the traditional way of life of the villagers. Continue to Lake Manyara National park, which is only a few minutes’ drives from Mto wa Mbu. Explore today one of the areas with the best wildlife viewing during the green season. Ndutu is the zone between South Serengeti and North West Ngorongoro where the Great Migration will come to graze and calve between Decembers to April. This short grassland area has highly nutritious grass due to the minerals found in the area. An amazing experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by iconic predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. The forests around Lake Ndutu is home to beautiful resident wildlife. In the evening you return to Serengeti Ang’ata camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ndutu area

Rise up early so that you can depart your camp for a morning drive, moving with the herds across the plains exploring the Great Migration. Ndutu is one of the very few places in the parks where off-road game drive is permitted and the best place to see hunting lions and cheetahs. All six cat species reside here year round – leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, serval and African wildcat. Other animals you can spot include hyenas, warthogs, elephants, giraffes and many more. After the afternoon game drive you return Serengeti Ang’ata camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara for a guided village walk in Mto wa Mbu town (visit local market, African family, local beer brew, local bar), then continue to Manyara Wildlife Camp for lunch. In the afternoon drive to Lake Manyara for game drive. This park has the highest concentration of monkey in north Tanzania. You will also have opportunity to see giraffes, elephants, hippo’s impalas and lots of birds. In the late afternoon you will return to Manyara wildlife camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ndutu

After breakfast drive to Ndutu for lunch. In the afternoon depart for game drive in Ndutu area. This is the area along the boundary of Ngorongoro and Serengeti where the great migration is supposed to be between January and April. It is where these millions of animals will drop their young ones because the area is open and has highly nutritious grass. This is the highlight of your entire trip and you will expect to see lots of excitement like hunting, chasing, young ones being born etc. You will have three nights to explore this special area where off road driving is permitted to allow you observe these adventures up close. We recommend you start your game drives very early in the morning to be successful. All meals and overnight will be at Mbugani migration tented camp

Day 8: Ngorongoro

After early breakfast drive to Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch for a game drive on the crater floor. This will be the best place for you to see the endangered black rhino (less than 800 black rhinos remain in the wild on earth. You will also see pink flamingos in the lake and many more animals. In the late afternoon you will drive to Eileen’s trees inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Zanzibar

In the morning you drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a nature walk at the edge of the huge soda lake. After this walk you hop in the safari vehicle to continue for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known for its huge soda lake filled with pink-hued flamingos, large population of baboons, incredible birdlife and breathtaking views. You can see giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos and if you are lucky you spot a tree-climbing lion. In the late afternoon you will continue to Eileen’s trees inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara

Day 4: Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti national park for game drive with picnic lunch. Serengeti is the park with the largest concentration of big mammals in the world. Here you will see most wildlife and this will probably be the highlight of your entire safari. Animals in the Serengeti include prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, impalas, giraffes, hippos, warthogs, lots of birds and many more. In the late afternoon you will continue to Serengeti bush camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti

Today you go on a morning an afternoon game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. If you want to spot the Big Five – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo- all in one park, the Serengeti is one of the best places to do so. The abundance of wildlife in this park is unmatched anywhere else in Africa. Depending which time of the year you visit this park, you can also witness the Great Migration. It’s an impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by iconic predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. In the late afternoon you will continue to Serengeti bush camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro

After breakfast you depart for a morning game drive in the Serengeti with picnic lunch. In the afternoon you visit a traditional Maasai village to get an insight in the lifestyle of these graceful warriors. After this exciting cultural experience, you drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Today you set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a beautiful game drive. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colours and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon return to Eileen Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Arusha – Zanzibar

In the morning you drive back to Arusha. After lunch you continue to Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival on the tropical island you will be transferred to the historical Zanzibar Coffee house at Stone town for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Zanzibar Stone town

Spend a full day exploring the historical Stone Town. It is a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways that are a joy to explore. Discover the architectural gems, tasteful restaurants, churches, markets and gardens. There are plenty of interesting places to visit on a cultural tour, like the House of Wonders, Darajani market place, Sultan’s Palace and the Slave Market. The mix of Arab, Persian, Indian and European influences makes Stone Town absolutely unique. In the late afternoon you return to Zanzibar Coffee house for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Zanzibar Stone Town

Today you go on a spice tour. Walk with a guide through the villages and spice plantations where pepper, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, etc grows. The guide will explain how the plants grow and what we use it for. You continue your tour to Jozani Forest, the last indigenous forest on Zanzibar with impressive mangroves. Here you can view different kind of monkeys, like the rare red colobus monkeys, trees and plants. In the late afternoon you return to Zanzibar Coffee house for dinner and overnight.

Day 11, 12 and 13: Zanzibar Nungwi

The next 3 days you can relax at the beautiful Nungwi Beach. This is one of the best beaches on the island. It has a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise water that gently rolls onto the beach. You can spend the entire day at the beach, since the beaches in this northern part of the island are not as tidal. If you like to be more active, there are plenty of options, from village walks and sailing to scuba diving and snorkeling. You can book the activities at the Warere Beach Hotel where you stay.

Day 14: Departure

Day 3: Lake Manyara

Day 4: Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti Sopa lodge for lunch.In the afternoon depart for game drive in Serengeti national park, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Serengeti

Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national park with early departures, trying to look for active cats/hunting predators. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro

After breakfast depart for morning game drive in Serengeti national park with picnic lunch. Later you will continue for a nature walk on the rim of Ngorongoro crater accompanied by an armed ranger/guide. Today starts your safari. After an early breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch for a game drive. This lovely park boasts the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National Park is packed with wildlife. Big cats like lions, cheetahs and leopards, but also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx and Gerenuk. The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, as well as predators who prey upon them. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After early breakfast you set off towards Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. You can see giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos and if you are lucky you spot a tree-climbing lion. You return to the lodge for lunch then continue to Kisimangeda lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro

This day will be full of culture, with interesting encounters with local tribes. After breakfast, you drive to Lake Eyasi. This is an untouched and scenically beautiful area where you can get a real insight into the way of life of the rural tribes like the Datoga and Hadzabe Bushmen. The Datoga are farmers and silversmith’s who make iron knives and spears. The Hadzabe hunt on wild animals with bow and arrows, eating roots, honey and wild fruits. Visit their habitat and experience their culture first hand. Around lunchtime you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a picnic lunch and a visit to a traditional Maasai village.  After a day full of exciting experiences you drive to Ngorongoro Serena lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Upon arrival on the tropical island Zanzibar you will be transferred to Hideaway of Nungwi, where you can enjoy dinner and the beautiful views over the garden and blue Indian Ocean. Day 9: Zanzibar

Drive today across the only active volcano in East Africa, Oldonyo Lengai, towards Lake Natron. On the way you can enjoy amazing landscapes and the traditional Maasai. Lake Natron is the most important breeding site for flamingos in the world and the only breeding site for flamingos in East Africa.  The crust created by the alkali salt sometimes gives the lake a stunning red or pink hue, or even orange in the more shallow parts, by the microorganisms that live there. Day 6: Lake Victoria

Today you set off to Africa’s largest lake. Lake Victoria plays a vital role in the lives of millions of people who live on the shoreline of this huge lake. Explore this untouched area, when you pass through the small villages of the Sukuma tribe. This tribe grow cotton, ground nuts, sorghum and cassava as well as keeping livestock. Life carries on here, simply as it was centuries ago. This journey offers you a unique insight in the rural life in Tanzania. At the end of the afternoon you drive to the Serenity Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Lake Victoria

In the early morning you depart on a canoe fishing trip on Lake Victoria with local people. The waters are ideal for fishing. You can cast your line for the big Nile Perch or giant Tilapia. Lake Victoria has also a great variety of freshwater tropical fish, many of which are exported to aquariums all over the world. It’s shores are peaceful and pristine, and offer a quiet relaxing environment. After this fishing trip you return to the lodge for breakfast and a little leisure on the lake shore. Day 8: Lake Victoria

Rise up early morning for a fishing trip on Lake Victoria by boat. This is a difference experience than by canoe since you can go further by boat, with higher changing of a good catch. Lake Victoria is not only a great place for fishing but also for bird watching or visiting one of the many small untouched islands, like Rubondo where you can spot a diversity of big game, from elephants and giraffe to chimpanzees (optional). Spend the afternoon at leisure at the beautiful shores of the lake where the Serenity Lodge is located. Dinner and overnight are also at this lodge.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park (central)

After breakfast you drive back to the Serengeti for a game drive in the central part of this national park. This area is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in this central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, pangolin and many more. Dinner and overnight will be at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Day 10: Departure

On this last day of your safari you drive back to Arusha for lunch and the continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for you departure flight.

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to African Tulip Hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari proper in the morning.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park where your safari starts. This lovely park boasts the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National park is packed with wildlife. Big cats like lions, cheetahs and leopards, but also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx and Gerenuk. In the afternoon you drive to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Rise up early for a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park with picnic breakfast. With four of the Big Five residing within the park, this park is a great spot. If you are lucky you can even spot the tree-climbing python. After a lunch at the lodge, you depart on an exciting 2-hours walking safari. Your senses awaken, as you become part of the wilderness. See the bush through the eyes of Africa’s wildlife, smell the scents and hear the sounds of the African wilderness. Return to the lodge for dinner. In the evening you depart for 2.5 hours on a night game drive in the park. Discover nocturnal animals like porcupines, pangolin, aardvark and others.

Day 4: Mto wa Mbu – Lake Manyara National Park

Today starts, after breakfast, with a walking tour in farming town Mto wa Mbu. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa and forms a colourful mix of languages and customs. Your walking guide will take you to rice and banana plantations, a local beer factory, a school and a carving factory. Discover the traditional way of life of the villagers. Continue to Lake Manyara National park, which is only a few minutes’ drives from Mto wa Mbu. Lake Manyara is known for its huge soda lake filled with pink-hued flamingos, large population of baboons, incredible birdlife and breathtaking views. You can see giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos and if you are lucky you spot a tree-climbing lion. In the late afternoon continue to Manyara Wildlife Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Today you go on a morning and afternoon game drive in the famous Serengeti National Park. If you want to spot the Big Five – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo- all in one park, the Serengeti is one of the best places to do so. The abundance of wildlife in this park is unmatched anywhere else in Africa. Depending which time of the year you visit this park, you can also witness the Great Migration. It’s an impressive experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by iconic predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. Late in the afternoon you return to Serengeti Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Another day of morning and afternoon game viewing in the Serengeti. With so many wildebeest, gazelles and zebras present it is no wonder the Serengeti is also home to 4,000 lions and 1,000 leopards. Apart from the Big Five the Serengeti boasts the cheetah, jackal, hyena, serval, aardvark, pangolin, porcupine, crocodiles, giraffe, python, black mamba, spitting cobra, ostrich, martial eagle, lovebirds and vultures, just to name a few. Enjoy this supreme game viewing and return to Serengeti Sopa Lodge in the evening.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Today you set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with picnic lunch. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colours and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon you drive to Karatu Country Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Arusha

After breakfast you drive back to Arusha for lunch at The African Tulip hotel, then continue to Kili Villa lodge for dinner and overnight. The purity of the surrounding nature and spectacular views on Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro to the north and Maasai Steppe to the south are breathtaking.

Day 9: Arusha

Enjoy a full day of playing golf. Discover the exceptional golf course right on your doorstep. With spectacular all-round views, the course is undoubtedly one of the leading 18 holes golf courses on the African continent. It is listed in the ‘Top 10 best golf courses of Africa’. All meals and overnight will be at Kili Villa lodge.

Day 10: Departure

Spend your day at leisure. You can play golf, relax or go birding at the huge Kili Villa gardens. In the late afternoon you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
